Having been at Harewood since 2002, I have seen many of my patient’s needs change over the years. As a mother to two daughters, I also understand the need for good dental care for the whole family, and treating children, who then become cooperative patients and understand the need for good dental practices which are carried through to later life, is a priority.

I am always happy to advise my patients with their needs and I have particularly enjoyed seeing some very anxious patients relax over time to become regular attenders with minimal anxiety when attending appointments.

I enjoy practicing all aspects of dentistry from routine aesthetic fillings and tooth whitening to root canals, crowns, veneers and restoring implants, focusing on being caring and professional at all times.

I have also enjoyed growing my Invisalign practice, achieving beautiful results using this clear brace system.

I also attend regular courses to keep on top of the latest developments and treatment techniques to help with the many treatment we provide.

Preventive dentistry has been our approach at Harewood. Providing the best possible care to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile for the whole family with a focus on putting the more anxious patient at ease through good communication and, in doing so, demonstrating that dentistry needn’t be something to worry about.

Dr. Marios Hadjicharalambous

Dr Hadjicharalambous qualified as a dentist from the University of Athens, Greece in 2010. He started his clinical career in several Units of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he developed a special interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology.

In 2012 he commenced his 3 year specialty training in Oral Surgery (MClinDent programme) at the world-renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London and graduated with Distinction in September 2015. He currently works as a specialty doctor in Oral surgery department at Kings College Hospital where he divides his time doing complex dental surgical procedures and teaching undergraduate students. He has previously worked as Specialty doctor at the Oral and Maxillofacial department in Milton Keynes Hospital and in various private practices across London doing mainly Oral Surgery, Implantology, and dealing with cases involving Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Oral Pathology.

His areas of clinical expertise are all forms of intraSave-oral surgery including removal of impacted wisdom teeth, removal of benign lesions in the mouth, dental implants and temporomandibular joint disorders. Marios is passionate about delivering modern dentistry based upon the best available research.

He is a member of The Royal Collage Of Surgeons and is awaiting registration as a Specialist in Oral Surgery with the GDC.

Enhanced skills and special interests in: Dental Implantology, Oral Surgery (wisdom teeth extractions, surgical extractions, apicectomies, bone surgery), Oral Pathology ( mouth diseases, biopsies, temporo-mandibular joint disease).

Dr Rajesh Patede MFDS RCSEd
Implant Surgeon

Dr Rajesh Patade graduated from the Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Dentistry (BDS) in 2008. Following this, he went on to complete a year as a Senior House Officer in Oral Maxillofacial surgery at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. During this period, he completed his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

To date he has placed over 400 implants and is experienced in tackling complex cases to restore lost bone volume with block bone grafting and sinus grafting. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and has a coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons England (Dip Imp Dent).

Dr Patade has travelled to the United States and Europe to further his Cosmetic and Advanced Restorative skills and completed a certificate course in Cosmetic and Aesthetic dentistry in 2011. This enables him to treat even the most complex cases involving a mixture of implants and teeth.

Outside of work, he has a passion for travel, which has taken him to South America, the Galapagos Islands and the Far East. More recently, his adventures have been put on pause as he has 3 young children who keep him rather busy and very much on his toes!

Dr Pav Pandher BDS MJDF RCS (Eng)
Dentist

Pav graduated from the University Of Sheffield in 2008, and worked as a Senior House Officer at Guy's Hospital, before completing his Membership exams for the Royal College and post graduate training at the Eastman Dental Institute. 

His approach to dentistry is centred around clinical excellence and enjoying a positive relationship with his patients and colleagues.

Clinically, Pav likes all aspects of dentistry, but holds a keen interest in cosmetic treatments and Invisalign orthodontics.

Outside of work Pav is a huge film fan and loves to travel.

Helen Horsfield
Hygienist

Helen qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the Royal Army School of Dental Hygiene in 1991; since this time she has diligently continued her professional development so that she keeps up to date with the latest dental health practices as well as relying on her years of experience of treating simple to complex dental health issues.

Helen has worked at Harewood since 1999 and is an active member of our professional body BSDHT (British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists). Helen is married with 2 daughters and volunteer is a Unit Leader for Girlguiding.

She is passionate about educating and providing our patients with the knowledge and skills to maintain and prevent dental disease, recognising the importance of this for general health and wellbeing.

Tanya Brunn
Hygienist

Tania qualified at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital.

Her first position was at Charing Cross Oral and Maxillofacial department caring for patients after reconstruction surgery.

The opportunity to work abroad took her to New Zealand where she lived and worked at a private practice before getting married and starting a family.

She then entered the world of corporate dentistry working for Shell International before returning to private practice and joining the Harewood team in 2011.

Always up for a challenge Tania has put her adventurous nature to good use... abseiling, sky diving and running half marathons to raise money for charities.

Over the last couple of years her passion has been rowing.

Andrea Buckley
Dental Nurse and receptionist

Andrea started her Dental nursing career in 1993, qualifying in 1997. She still enjoys all aspects of Dentistry and interacting with our patients. 

Andrea can mainly be found on reception now but her main passion remains being in the surgery working alongside our Dentists. 

Outside of work I enjoy time spent with family and friends, reading and walking. 

Laura McDonnell
Dental Nurse

Laura is a qualified dental nurse and has been working at Harewood for 4 years. She started as a trainee dental nurse and over the last four years have progressed and have been given more responsibility within the practice including compliance management and running the social media on Instagram and Facebook.

Laura hopes to progress into treatment coordination in the coming year. You’ll find Laura assisting our practice owner Olha and one of our dentists Pav. On Fridays she works on reception.

Laura enjoys personal fitness; she believes fitness is important mentally and physically. She enjoys meditating and winding down with mindfulness meditations in the evenings. Her other passion is a love of travel and exploring different cultures, foods and architecture.

Laura also loves surrounding herself with friends and family.

Sharon Greely
Dental nurse

Sharon was born in the village of Strete, South Devon and have worked at Harewood since 2002. 

Sharon met her husband, a Grenadier Guard and moved up to Surrey and has lived in the local area ever since.

She trained as a dental nurse in Kingsbridge and qualified in Aldershot in July 1991.
