Dr Hadjicharalambous qualified as a dentist from the University of Athens, Greece in 2010. He started his clinical career in several Units of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he developed a special interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology.

In 2012 he commenced his 3 year specialty training in Oral Surgery (MClinDent programme) at the world-renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London and graduated with Distinction in September 2015. He currently works as a specialty doctor in Oral surgery department at Kings College Hospital where he divides his time doing complex dental surgical procedures and teaching undergraduate students. He has previously worked as Specialty doctor at the Oral and Maxillofacial department in Milton Keynes Hospital and in various private practices across London doing mainly Oral Surgery, Implantology, and dealing with cases involving Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Oral Pathology.

His areas of clinical expertise are all forms of intraSave-oral surgery including removal of impacted wisdom teeth, removal of benign lesions in the mouth, dental implants and temporomandibular joint disorders. Marios is passionate about delivering modern dentistry based upon the best available research.

He is a member of The Royal Collage Of Surgeons and is awaiting registration as a Specialist in Oral Surgery with the GDC.

Helen Horsfield

Helen qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the Royal Army School of Dental Hygiene in 1991; since this time she has diligently continued her professional development so that she keeps up to date with the latest dental health practices as well as relying on her years of experience of treating simple to complex dental health issues.

Helen has worked at Harewood since 1999 and is an active member of our professional body BSDHT (British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists). Helen is married with 2 daughters and volunteer is a Unit Leader for Girlguiding.

She is passionate about educating and providing our patients with the knowledge and skills to maintain and prevent dental disease, recognising the importance of this for general health and wellbeing.

Dr Rajesh Patede MFDS RCSEd
Implant Surgeon

Dr Rajesh Patade graduated from the Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Dentistry (BDS) in 2008. Following this, he went on to complete a year as a Senior House Officer in Oral Maxillofacial surgery at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. During this period, he completed his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

To date he has placed over 400 implants and is experienced in tackling complex cases to restore lost bone volume with block bone grafting and sinus grafting. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and has a coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons England (Dip Imp Dent).

Dr Patade has travelled to the United States and Europe to further his Cosmetic and Advanced Restorative skills and completed a certificate course in Cosmetic and Aesthetic dentistry in 2011. This enables him to treat even the most complex cases involving a mixture of implants and teeth.

Outside of work, he has a passion for travel, which has taken him to South America, the Galapagos Islands and the Far East. More recently, his adventures have been put on pause as he has 3 young children who keep him rather busy and very much on his toes!

Tanya Brunn

Tania qualified at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital.

Her first position was at Charing Cross Oral and Maxillofacial department caring for patients after reconstruction surgery.

The opportunity to work abroad took her to New Zealand where she lived and worked at a private practice before getting married and starting a family.

She then entered the world of corporate dentistry working for Shell International before returning to private practice and joining the Harewood team in 2011.

Always up for a challenge Tania has put her adventurous nature to good use... abseiling, sky diving and running half marathons to raise money for charities.

Over the last couple of years her passion has been rowing.

Leanne Banasko-Lawson

Leanne qualified as both a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist from Cardiff Dental University in 2001.
This dual training enables her to offer a wide range of skills that your dentist may utilise, including professional dental cleaning, fillings, X-rays, children’s extractions and much more.

She has a particular interest in supporting nervous and phobic patients, and if this is something you experience, she would be delighted to meet you.

Leanne lives in Windsor with her husband and their three daughters. She leads an active lifestyle, enjoying long walks with her dog and regular visits to the gym.

I started dental nursing in 2007 and have had a keen interest in particular areas like implants, radiography which I have further qualification in.

With nearly 20 years’ experience I have enjoyed working with the public especially nervous patients trying to build up a relationship to put them at ease. I am chatty, hardworking and enthusiastic.

I have two small children so they keep me very busy. I also enjoy travelling and am a big foodie.

Andrea Buckley

Andrea started her Dental nursing career in 1993, qualifying in 1997. She still enjoys all aspects of Dentistry and interacting with our patients. 

Andrea can mainly be found on reception now but her main passion remains being in the surgery working alongside our Dentists. 

Outside of work I enjoy time spent with family and friends, reading and walking.
