At Harewood, we have worked hard to build a practice based on whole person care. Whole family care. Giving the right advice for you and your loved ones, to give you the most beautiful natural smile we can. It is that ethos that has led thousands of patients to trust us with their dental health. From our celebrities, Olympic athletes, famous personalities, actors and actresses to the children at our local school. Everyone is cared for with the same kindness and care. Everyone is equally important to us.
During my time at Harewood I have been fortunate to care for many wonderful people, one of the most interesting was caring for Sir Ben Ainslie and the Americas Cup team in the run up to Challenge in 2017 in Bermuda. Keeping energy levels high whilst not damaging your teeth with sugar proved a challenge of it’s own.
In 2009 I fortunate enough to became a dental volunteer for Operation Smile. My first mission was to Guwahati in the Assam region of India. I have since travelled to Columbia, Nicaragua, Panama, Mumbai and the Philippines in my role as Chair, a role I was so honoured to accept. Operation Smile provides life changing surgery for children born with cleft lip and palate, in over 70 countries globally. We have over 5000 volunteers, providing their services for free to help children live their lives to their full potential, freed from the challenges of being born with facial disfiguration.
Over the years my patients have been my friends and my family. I have watched them grow up, and have children of their own. I have felt blessed and honoured to have shared their journeys through life, as they have shared mine and my daughter’s.
Despite having retired from full time practice, I still oversee the care of patients at Harewood, and work tirelessly to maintain the same high clinical standards we have always had. Your health is the most important thing to us and now, that is even more important than ever.
